The motivation for these tracks stem from the interesting rhythms, melodies, and compositions found especially in traditional form of music. The aim of the album was to be faithful to the traditional feel of the music while still exploring new soundcapes and styles in the form of techno.

S4PM1 - Welcome to Sápmi! This ethnologic techno track is inspired by the barren tundra the Sámi inhabit and features an authentic joik that is a tradition form of song. The rhythm is set by the ceremonial shaman frame drum while the other notable percussion sound are made with bones that are an ancient instrument. The melody is based on a very old guitar type instrument.
